FeedKC, a UMKC student-led initiative (via UMKC Enactus) that built a web portal connecting businesses with surplus prepared food — corporate cafeterias, buffet restaurants — to local food banks and soup kitchens, to redirect food that would otherwise be thrown away to people in need.
